Introduction

Why Psychoanalyst Women Forum on the net?

As we know from Plato, the word Forum traditionally designated a specific place where women were not allowed to speak. The choice of this term rests on our wish to rescue public feminine speech from pure subjectivity allowing a meeting point of symbolic exchange.
We thought significant the name of Lou Salomé‚ as a tribute to the woman analist, Freud's disciple, who could combine eros and style.
Psychoanalist women because it is important to stress the position of speech that anyone assumes as a sexual subject (feminine/masculine). In spite of all appearances, this has been greatly forgotten in the contemporary drift of psychoanalitical knoweldge.
Having in mind a talkative interraction between psychoanalist women from different schools and groups in a tranversal and international contest Forum Lou Salom‚ is going to use the structural support of the net.
Internet is a new methodology in the field of feminine relationshisps in psychoanalysis and allows us to build a network of information and of theorethical and critical contacts globally visible and that can be shared.
Access to the Net gives a chance of communicating with women working in the field of psychoanalisis who share the common solitude of a knowledge that is unbearable because difficult to exchange.
This sharing is proposed in a specific feminine way through the meeting of women on the Forum Site.

Having being proposed by Italian Psychoanalist Women, Forum is going to use Italian in international communications except for short abstracts in English or French.

Joining Forum, you'll be able to work with small or big groups simultaneously or at different times and communicate the results of your workgroup (Research Net) to other groups or to single Forum members.
For each of us it'll be possible to get in touch or chat in writing or vocally with other women, other groups or the same workgroup. With this brand new technology we'll be able to chat with other women in the world in a collective phonecall paying the cost of a sigle urban call.

We are going to open as many mailboxes as needed by the subjects of research. Our Password on the contrary is going to be the same so that every member can have access and examine the totality of the work done by Forum.
At the time of registration members will receive our password entering all mailboxes containing all information and addresses of all Forum members. It is also included the right to take part in research groups within or without the net.

Forum is going to acquire reviews of texts of interest for our fields of reserch, giving preference to women writers without excluding essays by men which we find interesting for our studies.
